How I Made My Home Feel More Peaceful, Without Spending Thousands On Home Decor
I used to think that you needed a big budget to decorate your home. I may be an interior designer, but I didn’t come from a family where we prioritized interior design. It never crossed our minds to hire an interior designer. We always thought that interior design was for the wealthy.
But then I became an interior designer and I realize that with all the resources and creativity that designers have, there isn’t always a need to have a huge budget. In fact, you absolutely can decorate your entire home without spending a ton of money.
You could even work around items you already have. What really helps is being intentional about your home decor. Don’t buy furniture and decor just because it looks pretty. Most importantly, start small and don’t feel like you need to buy everything just to fill up space.
After doing this for my own home, I’ve since designed so many homes and I’ve worked with a mixture of clients. From clients who had a tiny budget, to clients who had a very large or unlimited budget.
One common goal across the board is that every client desired a space that feels peaceful, comfortable, functional, beautiful, and a reflection of who they are. It was never about being trendy or spending a ton of money on furniture and decor that doesn’t suit their lifestyle.
No matter how big or small your budget is, you deserve to have a home that feels peaceful and put together. I know it can feel overwhelming, you don’t always know where to start, what to buy, where to focus your money on and you may be afraid of making costly mistakes.
The next best step is to work with me and I can help you create a custom design plan specifically for your needs, and I can help you virtually from where ever you are. But if you’re not quite ready to hire an interior designer, that’s completely okay. That’s why I created my guide, The Whole Home Refresh Plan. It’s a quick room-by-room guide to help you decorate and refresh your entire home quickly, making small and simple changes, without spending a fortune on home decor. You could even use what you already own. Grab the guide HERE.
